For brides & grooms in Australia, we strongly advise you to do an ABN search at a government site such as www.asic.gov.au to compare it with the business name advertised. This is to ensure that you are dealing with an authentic business and one that has been registered for as long as they advertise as being in existence.
Always get an agreement, invoice and receipt & ensure that you have the opportunity to deal with the listed business owner (VERY IMPORTANT). We cannot stress this enough after hearing of countless complaints from wedding couples after their wedding who’ve done business with people passing off as (pretending to be) other registered businesses.
